Understanding Philosophy The developer of Chiropractic, BJ Palmer, felt that the adjustment should be aimed only at the upper portion of the Spinal Column. Others felt equally as strongly, that the whole spine should be analyzed and treated. Following is a partial list of the more common Treatments available in Chiropractic today:
All the methods mentioned above are directed at reducing the patient's discomfort and alleviating the cause of the problem. Also, scientific investigation into the validity of the various treatment techniques, is also being undertaken. While most of the above techniques utilize some form of manipulation to reduce the patient's Spinal Fixation and/or Subluxation, it is the analysis behind each technique which differs. |
